High school sweethearts, Cyndi met Patrick in chemistry class. They dated throughout high school and were married in 1974 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Grants Pass. The first of two sons, Michael, was born late 1974. In 1975 Patrick took a job in California so the young family packed up and moved to Livermore. Their last son Brian was born in 1977.
Although Cyndi loved to be at home with her children, she decided to enter the job market. Through a temp agency, Cyndi tried her hand at a few different things including some office work at Kaiser Sand and Gravel and then Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She continued on at Lawrence Livermore permanently, starting as an administrative assistant. She continued to advance her career moving into business services and then into more technical roles. A strong woman of God, Cyndi was initiated into the Catholic faith in 1987. After visiting Medjugorje with members of the church, she became a member of the medjugorje prayer group. She participated in Knights of Columbus activities as well as many other church interests.
Cyndi's love of the outdoors led her to Idaho. She settled in Bonners Ferry in 2012 with Patrick, surrounded by wide beautiful skies and lush green trees. Living a simple life, Cyndi raised chickens and rabbits, tended her garden and fruit trees, and learned to can. She spent the last of her days in a place she loved with the man she loved.
